Innovators to Hear from Frederick Leaders

On April 13, the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Michael O'Connor and business leaders from Frederick County's public and private sectors will represent the community at the Tom Tom Festival in Charlottesville, Virginia.


Within the festival, which attracted 45,000 attendees in 2017, Frederick will be prominently featured at the Hometown Summit, a national gathering to discuss best practices in America's most successful small cities.
The panelists discussing Frederick's opportunities and challenges include City of Frederick Mayor Michael O'Connor; Scott Ryser, Founder and CEO of Yakabod; Helen Propheter, director of Economic Development for Frederick County; and Elizabeth Cromwell, president & CEO of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce.
