In effort to maximize the police resources available to the community and improve the quality of life, The City of Frederick enacted an Excessive Use of Police Services Ordinance in 2007. Please reference the program brochure for an overview of the various aspects of the ordinance. You can find a detailed description of the ordinance on the following link City Code, Section 15-46(h). The goals of the program are to encourage responsible property ownership, by educating the community on ways to improve the safety and well being; and address the challenges the City of Frederick experiences concerning excessive calls for service. For questions, please contact the False Alarm Coordinator by phone at 301-600-2139 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
